Abstract：Objective: To explore the current situation of tumor research in Nanjing Medical University. Methods: Based on literature metrology, the author analyses recent ten years tumor science literature of Nanjing Medical University, including annual distribution, journals and fund etc. In addition, the author use Citespace to carry out author co-occurrence，key words co-occurrence and reference co citation analysis. Results: In recent ten years, the research direction of tumor in Nanjing Medical University was more concentrated, the amount of literature and the number of citations were increased, and the quality of journal was high, also the research team with high yield author was established. Conclusion: In the future research planning, we should make full use of policy advantages to promote the sustainable development of tumor research. Also we need to break the gap between the isolated information island and promote the formation of school-level research team.
