Medical students’ craze for postgraduate education has been seen for several years. Taking Nanjing Medical University as an example, this essay analyzes the reasons behind this phenomenon and its influences on clinical internship education. Furthermore, some constructive countermeasures are put forward to strengthen the ideological and political education of medical students, polish the consciousness of career planning, optimize the system of clinical practice, reform the mechanism of graduate student enrollment, and adjust the structure of medical personnel training.
