With the increasing development of globalization and the needs of public health, how to train International Master of Public Health (IMPH) with the global health management and executive ability under the new situation has become one of the hot issues in the field of public health in china. In this paper, through literature reviewing and summarizing the experiences and lessons of public health master training experience in China, the authors analyzed the demands and the current situations for IMPH, put forward the challenges of IMPH training, and offered some suggestions: strengthen the propaganda and expand recruitment channels; establish reasonable international MPH training objectives and programs; improve the teachers' internationalization level; and perfect the quality assurance system of cultivation.
