Abstract:To study the influencing factors of Chinese health seeking behavior. Method We searched and collected the literature which studies on the influencing factors of Chinese health seeking behavior from 2000 to 2017. A comprehensively quantitative assessment was made by meta-analysis, including drawing forest plots, calculating the pooled SMD and the 95% confidence interval (95% CI). The biases were controlled according to Begger’s test and Egger’s test. Results A total of 24 studies including 18162 cases, After meta-analysis, the influence factors of Chinese residents' medical treatment choice are as follows:Medical quality(33.2%),Convenience of medical treatment(28.5%),Medical expenses(14.2%),Humanistic care(13.8%),Medical Environment(10.8%),Medical insurance policy(8.4%),Advertising effect or acquaintance(6.7%). Conclusion Chinese residents' medical treatment selection is mainly affected by medical technology and medical convenience, and the policy of medical insurance has not played a leading role. The corresponding policies and measures should be introduced or adjusted to promote the further implementation of the classification diagnosis and treatment.
