Objective: To investigate the current situation of scientific research of the hospital, and make reasonable suggestions to improve the efficiency of management and to promote the scientific research ability. Methods:Sorting and screening the related data and documents including the number、level and distribution of projects during 2011-2015 to find out the problems.Results: The amount of projects showed ascending trend yearly,projects were mainly supported by national, provincial and municipal funds,accounted for 49.9%, 33.5% and 16.6%. National funds is 1.76 times more than provincial ones,20.74 times more than municipal ones.The 5 departments gaining the most projects are cardiology department,department of geriatrics ,general surgery department ,liver surgery and oncology department.The amount of paper，patents and the rewards for scientific achievements has showed a continuous increase. Conclusion:The hospital has the problem of imbalance between subject development,low efficiency of transformation and insufficient support on personnel training and the solution is to reinforce the construction of discipline,to enhance the consciousness of achievement transformation and to increase investment in scientific research.
