Abstract:Objective: Objective To explore the influence on the teaching effect of clinical main courses and even the learning effect of clinical skills by reforming the examination evaluation mode of non-main courses for the undergraduate students of clinical medicine in the fourth grade. Methods: The teaching and evaluation methods of the fourth year students in clinical medicine major in E college of Nanjing Medical University were reformed, through the questionnaire survey of the teachers and students, we compared the main course scores of other classes and the qualification examination for medical practitioners before and after the reform. Results: The questionnaire data showed that 85.80% of the students rated as "good" for the reform of non-main course examination and 95.27% thought the reform would save time and help them learn the main courses better.74.29% of the teachers rated as "good" for the reform of exam methods of non-main courses, and 94.28% thought that the teaching method of non-main courses could meet the learning requirements of undergraduate courses. The statistical analysis of academic performance shows that before the reform was adopted, there was no significant change in the scores ranking of the classes in our school. The scores of class rankings are improved after the reform. Conclusion: The reform of non-main course evaluation method implemented in our hospital can improve the score, enable the teachers and students to teach and learn more effectively, and the students are trained to become qualified medical talents.
