Abstract:Using medical simulation techniques, simulation based medical education can create simulated patients and simulate clinical scenarios to replace real patients for clinical teaching and practice. Virtual reality is the use of computer simulation to generate a virtual world in three-dimensional space, simulating vision, hearing, touch and even taste. Medical education during the past decade has witnessed a significant increase in the use of this simulation technology. Despite the development of virtual reality technology in recent years, the application in the field of medical education is still restricted by technology, means, investment and ideas.
