Abstract:Objective: To understand the reality of chronic diseases in China by studying the current situation of chronic diseases in middle and old aged people. To understand the status of intergenerational support, whether there are differences in gender, age, urban and rural, medical insurance and so on, and their impact on the health of chronic patients in the middle and old age. Methods: Descriptive analysis was conducted on the basic situation, health status, chronic diseases and intergenerational support among the middle and old aged population by frequency and percentage. We used chi square test to make a difference study. The influence of intergenerational support on chronic diseases was investigated by two yuan Logistic regression analysis. Conclusion: there are significant differences in economic support among people with different individual characteristics and social conditions, and the frequency of contact is significant in different age groups and medical insurance groups. Intergenerational support has an impact on health self-assessment, life satisfaction and self-care ability; chronic patient group depression is higher, and the intergenerational group of chronic patients is strengthened. Pay attention to its mental health.
