This paper introduces the importance of cultivating the ability of medical students'' scientific research in the new period, based on the condition of medical students'' scientific research ability training research both at home and abroad, put forward of the shortcomings of the medical students'' scientific research ability cultivation mechanism.Combined with the present situation of medical education system in our country, the author from the project of cultivating scientific research ability, scientific research ability education teaching system, the scientific research ability training security system these three aspects to the medical students'' scientific research ability cultivation mechanism carried out a preliminary exploration and thinking.
