With the rapid growth of the elderly population and the severe situation of the high proportion and multiple characteristics of the elderly, it has become an increasingly urgent social issue to pay attention to the needs of the elderly to seek medical treatment and solve the problem of aging medical treatment.In this paper, the Jiangsu province hospital is chosen as a sample hospital to analyze the medical treatment status of medical insurance patients over 65 years of age in Nanjing, including the number of patients, the average cost per person and the proportion of expenses paid. According to the research results, the author puts forward countermeasures and suggestions, so that hospitals, medical insurance and medicine will form a joint force to better promote the construction and development of elderly medical services.
