With the popularization of evidence-based medicine, a large number of clinical research evidence and results have played a crucial role in promoting the development of clinical medicine.This article takes the major medical schools in the United States as an example to introduce American clinical research education methods in the medical education and resident training, including clinical research curriculum, rich teaching content, support for clinical research education, and residents’clinical research training, etc，further analysis of the inadequacies and improvement methods of education and training at this aspect in China，providing reference and recommendation for the education and training of clinical researchers in China.
