“双一流”背景下我国高校医药类学科竞争力分析及启示

    摘要:

    为评估我国高校学科发展现状,本研究以入选“双一流”建设的21所医药类院校为例,选取3个代表性学科:化学、临床医学和药理学与毒理学,对2017年9月至2018年7月间各院校这3个学科ESI学科排名及各相关指标进行监测,并进行定量分析,结果表明,3个学科均有7所院校进入全球前1‰;在研究期内各院校在各学科排名稳中有升,其中药理学与毒理学学科有明显上升趋势,进步最大;论文指标排名的普遍特点是总发文数量排名最高,其次是总被引频次排名,篇均被引频次位于最后;此外,各学科高水平论文数量较少。提出“双一流”建设中应综合应用ESI数据,为人才引进、学科团队建设、公认学术期刊聚焦、关键科学问题凝炼、绩效评价等提供决策依据,加强标志性和重大成果培育,突破以往“以量取胜”的局限性,进而加快我国“双一流”建设的进程。

    Abstract:

    The database of ESI has become an important tool in China which is used to evaluate first-class disciplines by the Ministry of Education and institutions. And to enter and promote their ESI ranking of disciplines becomes the essential development goal of institutions. In order to observe the current development situation of the academic level of medical disciplines in our country, this paper selects 21 representative colleges and three representative disciplines, namely, chemistry, clinical medicine and pharmacology and toxicology, and monitors their ESI rankings and related indicators from August 2017 to July 2018. The results of quantitative analysis showed that there are 7 institutions among the world top 1‰ in all 3 disciplines; during the monitoring period all institutions rankings were steady and rising in the 3 disciplines, among which pharmacology and toxicology showed a clear upward trend and made the greatest progress; the general feature of the paper indicator ranking was that the ranking of the number of papers was higher than the ranking of the number of total citations, and the ranking of citation per paper came last; in addition, the numbers of high-level papers are relatively low in three disciplines. It is advised that institutions should put an emphasis on the strategies of improving the discipline construction by use of ESI to provides decision-making basis for talent introduction, building discipline team, recognizing academic journals with good reputation, performance evaluation, etc, and strengthen the cultivation of landmark and major achievements and break through the limitations of winning by volume in the past, in order to take full advantage of ESI to improve the strength and output of research, with a view to further promoting the “Double World-Class” construction.
