Abstract:To understand the willingness of hospice care services for the elderly in Wuhu City, and to analyze the influencing factors affecting the hospice care service of the elderly, and to provide a basis for the establishment of China's hospice care system. A total of 642 elderly people in Wuhu City were selected and investigated by questionnaire survey. Descriptive analysis, chi-square test and multiple linear regression were performed using SPSS18.0. The results of the study showed that 47.0% of the elderly chose a general hospital hospice care unit, 28.0% of the elderly chose a community health service, and 13.6% chose an independent hospice organization, only 11.4% of the elderly chose elderly care institutions. The gender, educational level and marital status of the old population have a significant impact on the willingness to hospice care service . As the aging of Wuhu City continues to increase, the demand for hospice care services continues to increase. In the final journey of life, the elderly need multiple levels of service demand. Therefore, the elderly population has objective needs for the general hospital with hospice care wards, and hopes to play the role of the community health service center.
