Objective:To provide comprehensive advice and analysis for the clinical benefits of 25 clinical disciplines in a large general public hospital in Nanjing,and to provide suggestions for hospital administrators to further promote the discipline construction and development of the hospital. Methods:Selecting 12 indicators in the five dimensions of work volume, work efficiency, treatment quality, social benefits and scientific research ability of the 25 disciplines, using rank sum ratio method to rank, calculate RSR value and cumulative probability, using Excel 2007 for Data entry and calculation, SPSS 17.0 for statistical analysis, calculation of regression equation and variance analysis of scaling. Results:The comprehensive benefit of clinical displines was divided into 3 files. The analysis of variance (F=45.126, p<0.001) showed that the difference of 3 files was statistically significant and the files were reasonable. There are 10 disciplines with high comprehensive benefits, 11 disciplines with medium comprehensive benefits, and 4 disciplines with low comprehensive benefits, which are basically consistent with the actual situation of the hospital. Conclusion :The rank-sum ratio method can evaluate the benefit of discipline simply and quickly.In view of the division of discipline benefit, combining with the actual situation of discipline development, put forward the suggestions of discipline development respectively.Improving the ability of scientific and technological innovation and promoting the development of subject connotation;Strengthening the discipline cooperation development, promoting the discipline benefit together; shortening the gap of discipline development, helping the development of general discipline, improving the efficiency of discipline and the comprehensive strength of hospital.
