医药制造业集聚与创新效率的门槛效应分析

    基于我国24个省级行政区域医药制造业1995-2015年的面板数据,利用投入导向的malmquist指数求出医药制造业创新全要素生产率。进一步采用门槛效应面板数据模型分析集聚水平与创新效率之间的关系。研究结果发现:集聚水平仅对医药制造业创新技术进步存在单调递增的影响,而对全要素生产率和技术效率均具有显著的单门槛效应。整体来看,适度的提高集聚水平有利于创新效率的提高,但是过度集聚则可能对创新效率产生负的影响。因此,根据目前医药制造业区域集聚水平的发展趋势,均衡医药企业的地区分布,充分发挥集聚对创新效率的促进作用。

    Abstract:

    Based on the panel data of China"s 24 provincial pharmaceutical manufacturing industry from 1995 to 2015, this paper calculates the total factor productivity (TFP) of innovation in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry with malmquist index. The threshold effect panel data model is further used to analyze the relationship between agglomeration level and TFP. The results show that: the industrial agglomeration only has a monotone increasing effect on innovation technological change in the pharmaceutical industry, and has a significant single threshold effect on innovation TFP and technical efficiency. On the whole, a moderate increasing agglomeration degree can improve the innovation efficiency of pharmaceutical industry, but excessive agglomeration degree may have a negative impact on innovation efficiency. Therefore, according to the current development trend of agglomeration degree in pharmaceutical manufacturing, pharmaceutical companies should be balanced with agglomeration economy, and innovation efficiency can be best incentive by the agglomeration degree.
