Abstract:This thesis carries a comparative analysis on the knowledge of and satisfaction towards healthcare consortiums between the medical staff from institutions involved in the “group” medical assistance to Xinjiang program and other healthcare consortium members. It’s based on questionnaire surveys conducted among 145 medical staffs from 12 healthcare consortium members of The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. The result shows that medical staffs involved in “group” medical assistance to Xinjiang program have more knowledge about healthcare consortiums than those of other healthcare consortium members. The program of “group” medical assistance to Xinjiang is likely to be an influencing factor for medical staff’s satisfaction towards healthcare consortiums. Working modes, such as “hospitals cooperating with departments” and “teachers joining hands with students”, are suggested in order to improve medical staff’s involvement in the construction of healthcare consortiums.
