Abstract:Today, doctor-patient communication has been paid more and more attention. In medical activities, full and effective communication can not only improve the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment, but also meet the information needs of the patients. Strengthening the relationship between doctors and patients closely is important to promote the harmony between doctors and patients. Due to aging, hearing loss and decline of understanding show great influences on the effective communication between the elderly patients with the doctors.This paper analyzed the ethical problems of the elderly patients' close relatives' participation in medical decision-making, in order to explore the countermeasures and suggestions for doctor-patient communication in the process of medical treatment of the elderly patients.
