Abstract:Starting from the strategy of "Healthy China", this paper investigates and analyses the employment status of students majoring in health service management, explores the ways to improve their employment, and provides scientific basis for training students majoring in health service management to establish correct employment concept and strengthen the construction of medical and health personnel. Statistics on the employment data of the graduates of health management specialty in Nanjing Medical University from 2013 to 2018 show that the employment rate of health management specialty keeps a high level, the rate of postgraduate entrance examination is getting higher and higher, the students" employment expectation is too high, they tend to be large and medium-sized medical institutions and health administrative departments, and their awareness of serving the grass-roots level is weak. At the same time, under the influence of employment pressure, employment places began to concentrate from the second-tier cities to small and medium-sized cities. Therefore, we should strengthen the quality of teaching, strengthen employment guidance, attach importance to the construction of employment guidance curriculum system, strengthen the construction of employment and entrepreneurship guidance teachers and employment guidance information construction, so as to enhance students" employment competence.
