Abstract:Objective: To provide reference for promoting the application and research of the flipped classroom teaching model in pharmaceutical courses in China. Methods: Database of CNKI, PubMed and so on, were used to search the literatures and the curriculum type, curriculum research design and effect evaluation of pharmaceutical courses were compared respectively between China and the United States. Result: Both of them coincided with each other in the curriculum content and curriculum type of the flipped classroom, and they were also innovative. In the teaching design, they were similar, with some adjustments. On the results of the study, the participation and the teacher-student interaction of both were improved, but there was a difference in the performance, and it was slightly different to the attitude of the flipped classroom. In the evaluation tools, both of them were innovative. However, the research methods of the US were richer and the evaluation indexes were multiple. Conclusion: Research value of the US pharmaceutical courses flipped classroom is a reference for us on the study of the curriculum content and curriculum type, research design and effect evaluation. We need to broaden the scope of pharmaceutical flipped classroom research , perfect teaching design, expand the methods, enrich the evaluation index, improve the evaluation tools, and explore the teaching effect in depth.
