To explore the relationship between the degree of awareness of epidemic situation and the professional commitment of students in higher vocational medical schools during novel coronavirus and its mechanism of action. A total of 8052 students from medical colleges were selected for online questionnaire surveys. The results showed that the deeper the understanding of the epidemic situation, the higher the level of professional commitment, and the sense of self-efficacy played an intermediary role between the level of recognition and professional commitment; It has a regulating effect, and students who can obtain a nurse / assistant physician"s license have a greater regulating effect. Paying attention to the cultivation of professional knowledge and skills of students in medical colleges and professional identity education is conducive to improving their professional commitment level.
