Abstract:Purpose: To understand the current status, hotspots and trends of international medical quality and safety research, and to provide references for promoting related research; Method: Retrieve the research papers published in "BMJ Quality & Safety" and use bibliometrics and graph theory of scientific knowledge to perform statistics and analysis on the papers; Results: A total of 889 papers were included, with 66 to 159 papers published each year; the United States is the country with the most papers published, the Harvard University is the institution with the most papers published, and Charles Vincent is the author with the most papers published.
