Abstract:Under the background of "healthy China" strategy, through the analysis of the current employment situation of pharmaceutical graduates in medical colleges and universities, this paper explores the methods to improve the quality of employment, so as to provide the necessary basis for improving the talent training program and for improving the comprehensive competitiveness of students. According to the employment data of 2015-2019 undergraduate graduates from school of pharmacy of two Fujian Medical Universities, the results show that the employment rate of pharmaceutical graduates is higher, and the enrollment rate is on the rise; compared with the traditional medical institutions, most students choose to work in medical related enterprises; affected by the employment pressure and development prospects, the employment places are transferred to the developed areas of the medical industry. Employers are generally satisfied with the quality of graduates and the talent training mode, but they are not satisfied with the psychological endurance, work responsibility, innovation ability and computer application ability of graduates.It is suggested that the government, employers, schools and individuals should be united to improve the employment quality of pharmaceutical graduates.
