Abstract:82 clinical teaching instructors who majored in internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and pediatrics participated in PBL training in June to July 2019 in Nanjing Medical University were selected as the research objects. The questionnaire was used to analyze the teachers' reflection after PBL standardized training. Meanwhile, the teaching cases and effects were investigated by both of the instructors and 826 clinical students. After PBL training, most clinical teaching instructors reflected actively on the issues of "professional knowledge reserve in their field", "role of PBL tutor", "PBL curriculum planning", "teaching design", "students' learning ability", " teaching level", "combination of learning and research knowledge" and "objective evaluation of teaching", which showed that the majority of students' evaluation on teaching cases and tutors was positive. Therefore, PBL tutor training can be well accepted by tutors and benefit to the students. The study confirmed the role of training in the understanding and rethinking of PBL teaching concept, teaching strategy, teaching method and teaching content, and provided preliminary research and preparation for the cultivation of qualified PBL tutors, which is of great significance in teaching practice.
