Abstract:Objective: To understand the status of health resource allocation and health service utilization in Shenzhen, and to provide reference for optimizing health resource allocation, building a global benchmark city, and developing a pilot demonstration area of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Methods: The data related to the demand and utilization of health resources and health services in Shenzhen from 2010 to 2017 were collected, and the development and change of the data were analyzed by data description.Results: From 2010 to 2017, the total amount of health resources continued to expand, the number of health institutions, health human resources, and the number of beds in health institutions increased year by year, and the demand for health services of residents also showed a new development trend.Conclusion: Shenzhen currently facing the allocation of health resources cannot meet the needs of the residents" health, lack of basic medical and health resources development, and human resources for health problems such as unbalanced development, establish greater spending on health care, intensify the building of human resources for health, increase the grassroots medical and health resources, enhance the level of basic health services.
