Objective: To construct the competency model of preceptors in Standardized residency training. Methods: Collected the competency items of residential preceptors by Literature retrieval and behavioral event interview (BEI). After pre-survey of questionnaires, the features were screened by exploratory factor analysis, and the dimensions were divided. Finally, confirmatory factor analysis was used to test the structural validity of the model. Results: A post competency model of preceptors in standardized residency training with three dimensions and 21 characteristic items was formed. Conclusions: The model which can provide direction guidance for the training and evaluation of Preceptors in Standardized residency training.competency model of Preceptors in Standardized residency training is scientific and practical.
