As a basic ethical principle and moral criterion of interpersonal relationship, honesty is a basic virtue and moral character that one should possess, and an important value criterion of core socialist values at the individual level. Honesty is one of the most important issue in ideological and political education. In recent years, improvement can be seen in the honesty level of college students, but there are still individual college students lack of honesty. Analyzing these dishonesty behaviors, problems can be found in honesty education, especially in the aspect of subjectivity. Meanwhile, as an ethical principle and moral criterion, honesty features in subjectivity. Thus, honesty education needs to absorb subjectivity theory, attach more attention to college students’ subjectivity, help them to accept honesty education consciously, achieve self improvement and self discipline.
