We collect the data of notifiable communicable disease epidemic report of primary medical institutions in Anhui Province in 2020, and use the method of TOPSIS to evaluate the quality of notifiable communicable disease epidemic report of primary medical institutions in Anhui Province from five aspects, including whether the outpatient registration items are complete, whether the infectious disease epidemic registration and the report card meets the requirements and other aspects. Results showed that 20.1% of the primary medical institutions in Anhui Province did not register and record positive test results in the clinical laboratory and radiology departments, and 10.2% of the primary medical institutions’ outpatient projects were not fully registered; TOPSIS analysis showed there existed differences in the quality of report among 16 prefecture-level cities in Anhui Province. Village clinics, clinics and other primary medical institutions had low reporting quality. The reporting of notifiable communicable diseases in primary medical institutions in Anhui Province needs to be further standardized, and the quality needs to be improved. Supervision should be strengthened, focusing on improving the reporting quality of primary medical institutions such as village clinics and clinics, and promoting the coordinated development of reporting on notifiable communicable diseases among regions.
