Abstract:To understand the current status and influencing factors of health shocks and its intensity in low-income population, this paper used the data of the 6th National Health Service Survey in Jiangsu Province, and analyzed the factors influencing of health shocks in low-income population by Logit model and Tobit model. The incidence of health shocks in low-income population was 19.39%(392/2022), and the average intensity was 0.0958, which were 3.68 times and 5.80 times of that in non-low-income group respectively. Logistic regression analysis showed that having a job, high per capita annual income, participating in serious disease insurance, and having a better self-rated health status were the positive influencing factors of health shocks(P<0.05). The town, type of chronic disease, anxiety and depression were negative influencing factors(P<0.05). We should increase the support of government funds and policies, construct the prevention and control system of chronic diseases and perfect the medical security system. Meanwhile, the mental health education of the crowd should pay more attention.
