The ethics committee is the executive body of the ethical review work. In order to ensure the objective fairness of the review results, the ethics committee members should avoid the conflict of interest.However, China has not yet established a complete conflict of interest avoidance system for the ethics committee, and there are many problems in the application of the principle of conflict of interest avoidance.On the one hand, the scope of the application subject is limited, the avoidance reason is not comprehensive enough, and the avoidance procedure is not clear enough.On the other hand, the low level of legal norms, the absence of judicial relief procedures, it is difficult to implement administrative supervision.In view of the above problems, it is suggested to build a complete system of conflict of interest avoidance of the ethics committee in accordance with the relevant provisions of China's Procedure Law, so as to ensure that the examination results are fair and thus ensure the health and safety of the subjects.
