High-quality career planning education is critical for culturing medical professionals safeguarding health. Our survey revealed that a high proportion (80.54%) of medical students recognized the importance of career planning, but a less proportion (41.51%) showed low-degree satisfaction with related education, in addition, a lower level of engagement indicating the loopholes in the education of career planning. Under the guidance of “Three-all education”, institutions of medical education should enhance this education through increasing educational quality during all processes, fortifying teaching faculty from all areas, and carrying out precise planning in all specialties.
