Abstract:In recent years, China's family planning policy has undergone significant changes, resulting in an increase in the number of advanced maternal age pregnant women, which has become a new challenge in the field of maternal and child health. Based on the theory of risk culture, through in-depth and supplementary interviews with advanced maternal age pregnant women with three births, it is found that the reason why they are willing to take biomedical risks to have three children is mainly affected by the dual influence of fertility culture and medical culture, making the risk of having three children at the age of birth their consciousness is gradually diminished. Therefore, the theory of risk cultural is useful in clarifying the cultural reasons behind the risks of advanced maternal age pregnant women, exploring the objective and subjective factors that influence the risk perception of them, and better serving this group.
