Abstract:To understand the differences between medical and non-medical college students’ perception of medical-related reports during the COVID-19 epidemic period, and to provide some reference for the development of the good social atmosphere of “Zun Yi Zhong Wei”. The self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the students in three undergraduate colleges in Anhui Province through the way of online. 1221 valid questionnaires were recovered. Among them, medical students and non-medical students accounted for 48.6% and 51.4% respectively; medical students had basically the same positive and negative evaluations of medical reports during the epidemic, while non-medical students held more positive evaluation opinions. On the whole, the group of college students actively affirmed the positive image of medical staff during the epidemic, and the positive perception of medical reports can promote the willingness of medical students to practice. During the epidemic, the medical-related reports of the news media played a positive role in promoting the value guidance of “Zun Yi Zhong Wei”. Government should pay attention to strengthen the supervision of medical-related reports and the guidance of public opinion.
