Abstract:The health care system in China is challenged by the increasing burden of chronic non-communicable diseases and the regular management of the Infectious diseases, and the coordination between "medical" and "prevention" has attracted widespread attention from all sectors of society. Based on the theoretical framework of rainbow model, the article analyses main issues and obstacles faced by China's medical and prevention coordination at four levels: macro, medium, micro and supporting elements. On the basis of advanced experience in medical and prevention coordination at home and abroad, proposes six specific implementation paths of promoting medical and prevention coordination: system coordination, organizational coordination, professional coordination, service coordination, functional coordination and normative coordination.
