Abstract:Teaching discourse, as a key element in the teaching of ideological and political theory courses in universities, is an important carrier for educators and learners to transmit educational information, communicate effectively, and achieve teaching objectives. It plays the basic functions of political defense, theoretical indoctrination, value orientation, and educational education. The teaching discourse of ideological and political courses in universities in the new era has achieved historic development and transformation under the high attention of the Party Central Committee, strong promotion by education departments, and the efforts of ideological and political course teachers to explore and practice. However, there are still some problems such as insufficient integration of political and ideological aspects of teaching discourse by some teachers, insufficient attractiveness to students, difficulty in meeting students' needs, and low quality of teacher-student interaction. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance the effectiveness of the discourse of ideological and political education teachers by increasing the intensity of education and training, building a platform for teacher-student communication, and conducting special supervision on teaching discourse ability, in order to better implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents in ideological and political education in universities.
