Abstract:Insufficient physical activity among female college students leads to a decline in their physical health. To curb this phenomenon, practical strategies to promote physical activity among female college students are explored. Guided by the theory of social ecology, a 9-week intervention plan was designed to address participation barriers, and intervention experiments were conducted on 60 female college students. The research results show that comprehensive intervention on female college students from three levels: individual, physical environment, and social environment can effectively increase their extracurricular high-intensity physical activity, travel time, and reduce sitting time; The increase in physical activity is mainly due to group activities, and the supportive atmosphere ensures the way for female college students to pass. Based on this, strategies for promoting physical activity among female college students are proposed: on an individual level, relying on school education, emphasizing the improvement of theoretical knowledge and exercise experience, and exploring individual internal motivation; In terms of physical environment, precise placement and scientific management of exercise facilities provide support for structured activities, coordinate campus building environment planning and layout, and provide external environmental protection for unstructured physical activities; At the social environment level, group support is used as a means to form teams and organize activities, creating an emotional support atmosphere for female college students to participate in physical activities.
