With the intensification of aging and changes in disease spectrum, chronic comorbidities have become an urgent public health problem to be solved. This article searches for relevant literature on medication adherence among elderly people with chronic comorbidities both domestically and internationally, systematically reviews the basic information of the literature (such as publication year, research area, etc.), defines chronic comorbidities, measures medication adherence, analysis methods, etc., to understand the current research status of medication adherence among elderly people with chronic comorbidities, and to track and analyze the cutting-edge hotspots of medication adherence related research among elderly people with chronic comorbidities.
