Sperm cryopreservation technology has been widely used worldwide, and the development of sperm cryobanks in China for about 20 years or so has helped many families with infertility patients. Although the management of sperm cryobank is being standardised, there are still hidden dangers in the management of sperm specimen cryobank, such as cross-contamination, risk of storage equipment, safety of personnel operation and so on. Therefore, it is essential for human spermcryobanks to refine all aspects of the process, including semen collection, freezing, storage, development and application of better storage techniques and equipment, and regular and rigorous staff training.
