Abstract:The article employs a coupling coordination model and an obstacle analysis model to examine the synergy and constraints between the allocation of health human resources and high-quality economic development in the Yangtze River Delta region.Findings indicate that, aside from the impact of public health emergencies in 2020, the coupling coordination in the Yangtze River Delta has gradually improved from 2012 to 2021, yet remains at a relatively low level with regional disparities; The key factors impeding coordinated development are the imbalance in the supply and demand of health human resources and inadequate capacity for economic innovation and development. In response, it is essential to leverage government policy support to boost regional economic performance; Rationally plan the distribution of health human resources and advance the integration of health systems in the Yangtze River Delta; By enhancing comprehensive planning and applying targeted policies across different regions, we aim to foster coordinated development of both systems.
