Abstract:"5+3" system is a new mode of medical personnel training, but also a result-oriented training system. Its main feature is the clinical post competency training system integrated by colleges and hospitals, especially the stipulation of the 4-year clinical training stage, including clinical practice in undergraduate stage and clinical teaching in the training stage. Due to the implementation of the law of medical practitioners, the phased goal of clinical teaching has changed to some extent. From the perspective of Miller's phased mode of medical teaching, this paper analyzed the positioning and adjustment of the phased goal of clinical teaching under the "5+3" system, the competency at undergraduate practice stage should be appropriately adjusted, especially the significance of clinical practice at undergraduate stage should be re-positioned at the presentation stage. Due to the diversified development of undergraduates, it is necessary to carry out individualized teaching management in the undergraduate practice stage. In the planning training stage, it is also necessary to take students as the center and implement different clinical practice models under the guidance of teachers.
