Abstract:To investigate the digital health literacy status and its influencing factors among elderly people in urban communities of Hefei and promote the improvement of their digital health literacy, the study conducted a survey from July to August 2024 using convenience sampling. A total of 284 elderly individuals aged 60 and above from urban communities in Hefei participated. The average digital health literacy score of the respondents was (32.17±14.51), and significant differences in scores were found across various demographic factors such as age, marital status, education level, and personal monthly income (P<0.05). Multiple regression analysis revealed that individual factors were the most significant influence on the elderly's digital health literacy. Based on the social-ecological model, the study examined the findings from five aspects: individual, group, organization, community, and social policy, and proposed recommendations to provide theoretical guidance for improving the digital health literacy of the elderly and supporting the realization of active aging.
