Over the past century, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the modernization of health and wellness in China has gone through four stages: germination, exploration, development, and deepening. The achievements have been remarkable. The connotation of "putting people""s health at the center" has been continuously deepened and expanded in the practice of being comprehensive, involving all people, and covering the entire process. The concepts of "big health" and "big wellness" have taken root in people""s hearts. Currently, the advancement of China""s health and wellness modernization faces many practical challenges. It is urgent to strengthen health and wellness scientific and technological innovation, continue to deepen reforms, enhance the level of health and wellness legalization, and intensify the fight against corruption in the medical field.
