Abstract:Objective: To understand the true feelings of young stroke patients on fertility intention under the three-child policy, and to explore the status quo and related needs of young stroke patients on fertility intention. Methods: 15 young stroke patients and 13 spouses treated in a tertiary A hospital in Anhui Province were selected by the objective sampling method for semi-structured in-depth interviews, and the original data were analyzed by Colaizzi phenomenological analysis. Results: Four themes were identified: low fertility intention, fear of adverse effects of disease on fertility, lack of education related to stroke rehabilitation and reproductive safety, and need for psychological, social and family support. Conclusion: The fertility intention of young stroke patients is generally low, and the influencing factors are mainly individual factors, psychological and social factors, economic and environmental factors. In view of the multi-dimensional causes, comprehensive intervention strategies are proposed: Strengthen medical support and health guidance (optimize fertility management strategies for young stroke patients, set up special medical consultation, strengthen rehabilitation and follow-up services, popularize health knowledge education), improve social environment and support system, and improve individual fertility willingness and motivation.
