Abstract:This article explores the influencing factors of the utilization of health management services among the elderly population, providing a basis for guiding the elderly to actively and proactively utilize health management services. By using the convenience sampling method, 1,347 elderly people aged 60 and above were selected as the survey subjects in various cities of Jiangsu Province. Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of the utilization of health follow-up services and health examination services among the elderly population. The results show that smoking, napping, medical insurance, contracted family doctors, health status, chronic diseases, educational level and working status have significant impacts on the utilization of health examination services. Medical insurance, nap time, contracted family doctors, health status, chronic diseases, and educational level have significant impacts on the utilization of health follow-up services. Based on this, it is proposed that health education and the improvement of health literacy should be strengthened, guiding the elderly to adopt a healthy lifestyle, enhancing the quality of health management services, and promoting the elderly to actively and proactively utilize health management services.
