Abstract:Based on the panel data of 30 provinces from 2017 to 2022, the improved CRITIC entropy weight combination weighting method and the coupling coordination development model were used to measure the coupling coordination degree of traditional Chinese medicine services and elderly care services in China. The modified gravity model, Dagum Gini coefficient, Kernel density estimation and Markov chain were adopted to explore the spatial connection, regional differences and dynamic evolution characteristics of the coupling coordination degree. The research found that the coupling coordination degree of traditional Chinese medicine services and elderly care services was in the transitional development stage from 2017 to 2022; the spatial connection was continuously strengthened, showing significant spatial proximity and regional agglomeration effects. The degree of regional differences in the coupling coordination degree gradually decreased, and the main source was the inter-regional differences. There were certain high-level and low-level club convergence characteristics in the coupling coordination degree. Based on this, the study believes that the coupling coordination level of traditional Chinese medicine services and elderly care services still needs to be improved. At the same time, cross-regional cooperation should be strengthened to give full play to the driving effect of spatial connection and narrow the regional gap. Development measures should be formulated in accordance with local conditions to promote the upward leap of the coupling coordination degree.
