Abstract:Curriculum ideological and political education (CIP) is an essential measure to enhance the effectiveness of talent cultivation in higher education. Since its introduction as a new concept, it has garnered widespread attention from scholars. To develop a scientific and reasonable evaluation index system for CIP implementation by clinical medicine course instructors and to enhance their CIP teaching capabilities, this study conducted a literature review and applied the Delphi method to conduct two rounds of consultations with 20 experts. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was employed to determine the weight of each indicator. The positive coefficient of expert participation in the two rounds of consultation was [to be filled]; the expert authority coefficients were 0.89 and 0.90, respectively. The evaluation index system for the CIP teaching ability of clinical medicine instructors comprises four primary indicators (teacher competence, teaching process, teaching content, and teaching outcomes), nine secondary indicators, and 28 tertiary indicators. Conclusion: The evaluation index system for clinical medicine instructors' CIP teaching ability demonstrates strong scientific validity and practical applicability. It can serve as an important tool for assessing the CIP teaching capabilities of clinical medicine educators.
