Abstract:This study analyses the level of development of functional service provision for chronic diseases in Zhejiang Province from 2009 to 2023, the appropriateness of chronic disease prevention and control effectiveness indicators, and the correlation between the two. Through the systematic collection of policy documents and research literature from Zhejiang Province, the study quantitatively evaluated the level of development of functional service provision for chronic diseases, as well as the appropriateness of chronic disease prevention and control effectiveness indicators. Spearman’s correlation analysis and linear regression analysis were employed to investigate the correlation between the two. This study found that the level of development of functional service provision for chronic diseases in Zhejiang Province increased steadily, while the appropriateness of prevention and control effectiveness indicators showed a fluctuating upward trend.. The level of functional service provision was positively correlated with the appropriateness of prevention and control effectiveness indicators. Because this study was based on policy texts and literature data, the findings mainly support trend description and correlation rather than causal or effectiveness inference. It is recommended that the coverage of chronic disease services in Zhejiang Province be expanded and that tertiary prevention services for chronic diseases be improved.
