Abstract:As the future of medicine unfolds, intelligent medicine has emerged as a driving force behind medical advancements and innovation in medical equipment. Intelligent medicine can play a crucial role in shaping the future of medical development and fostering talent cultivation. Intelligent Medicine Engineering (IME) is a new undergraduate major that integrates knowledge from medicine, artificial intelligence, and engineering. It focuses on training students to solve medical problems using intelligent methods and engineering technology. In this study, we compared the educational programs of IME obtained from the 27 medical colleges in terms of talent cultivation objectives, ability training, and the medical curriculum. Based on the above comparison, we propose possible cultivation modes of IME by capitalizing on the strengths of medical colleges and introduce the practice of student cultivation at Tianjin Medical University.
