Abstract:The Healthy China strategy and forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation are two major strategic decisions made by the CPC Central Committee in the new era. As the main front for cultivating medical and health talents, medical universities shoulder the special mission of deeply integrating the two. On the basis of explaining the value isomorphism of the two, this paper analyzes the current practical dilemmas faced by medical universities in terms of professional education and ideological and political education, theoretical cognition and practical transformation, clinical environment and value embodiment, short-term activities and long-term mechanisms. Under the framework of full-chain cultivation defined by policy documents, it further explores two specific links not yet detailed in policies: the priority and path design of forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation in clinical internship, and the special value of ethnic minority students in doctor-patient communication. The research shows that medical universities should integrate the forging of a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation into the whole process of talent cultivation, so that professional spirit and values can be internalized in the growth of medical students, and the fundamental goal of cultivating talents for the Party and the country can be achieved in the practice of serving the construction of Healthy China.
