This article explored a new perspective of medical humanity, which could be understood as being unitary, multiple and harmonious, and proposed the postmodern medical model of biology, psychology, sociology and spirit. The author demonstrated that respect for the patient’s self-determination should be the core value of medical law and medical ethics, and explained that the self-determination made by Jehovah’s Witness should be respected which was with regard to their rejection to blood infusion.
