The clinical pathway has been widely used in hospital management in recent years,the core idea of which is implementation of standardized management,real-time quality control and continuous quality improvement of medical care. The article introduced the basic concept of the clinical pathway and the development history in internal and external,mainly discussed the formulation and implementation,and then summarized its positive significance and pointed out the prospect of future development.
